With a $1 million prize pool and tournament points to BLAST Premier being up for grabs, today is the day the playoffs in Intel Extreme Masters XVI Katowice begins. The event is played live in Poland in the Spodek Arena and will last throughout the weekend. The schedule is as follows:
- Feb 25: FaZe Clan vs. Gambit Esports and Virtus.pro vs. G2 Esports for a spot in the semifinals which Heroic and NaVi already qualified to through the group stage.
- Feb 26: Two semifinal matches take place in order to decide final contenders.
- Feb 27: Final is played at 17:00 CET in a best out of 5 format.
